Database Administrator

Part – Time Administrator (Database)
Temp – Perm

Specialist recruitment consultancy, based in Ipswich Town Centre, require an experienced Database Administrator, preferably with recruitment industry experience or administration experience in the following sectors: PR, Marketing, Advertising, Design or IT. Initial contract to cover maternity leave but with ongoing prospects for the right individual.

Responsibilities to include:

Database management
Data input
Managing incoming mail from applicants and clients
Answering telephone enquiries
Administration support for consultants
Managing job advertisements
HTML coding of adverts

Essential skills:

Fast, accurate typing
First class attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Extremely accurate grammar and spelling
Database experience
IT experience: Email, Internet & Microsoft Office

Desirable skills:

Familiar with:
• Apple Macintosh
• Filemaker Pro Databases
Recruitment industry experience
Other IT experience such as HTML coding

Personal Profile:

Organised
Hardworking
Able to work without supervision
Flexible

Hours: Mon, Weds & Fri 10am – 3pm
Salary: >£9 / hour according to experience.
